Dry Branch Fire Squad/Ron Thomason is mentioned a few times in
the Favorite Undiscovered Performers thread:

Do you like DRY BRANCH FIRE SQUAD / Ron Thomason ?? Ron Thomason’s humor ??

I thought I had posted a list of Thomason's non DBFS recordings
but do not find it. ??

I recently came across a DVD issued in 2019
Ron Thomason Bluegrass Court Jester
which should be of interest to those who appreciate their work.

Little Old Church By The Road

Interesting spoken introduction, John Duffy (Country Gentlemen, Seldom Scene) mentioned and comments
about Bluegrass, Country, gospel etc.….
In the documentary Say Amen Somebody about Thomas A Dorsey
there were thoughts expressed about gospel performance as Worship
vs. Entertainment.

Cheers, Thomas.

I always enjoyed the song "Oh What A Storm" which he wrote though it is of course, a bit dark. He wrote a number of songs on the Antiques And Memories album.
