15 Oct 23 - 06:41 AM (#4191064) Subject: Lyr Add: They Altered All The Aisles In Aldi From: GUEST THE DAY THEY ALTERED ALL THE AISLES IN ALDI Words & Music – Graham & Bernadette Dixon (Trouble at’ Mill) C G C The day they altered all the aisles in Aldi F C We wandered round like homeless refugees F C (Am) We couldn't find the butter for our crumpets G C And we couldn't find the packs of Lanky cheese Customers screamed out in desperation Why don't they leave things just the way they were Trolleys crashed and shopping list were screwed up And the manager was tearing out his hair The staff are trying their best to give directions Even thought they are receiving lots of flak They've had to set up base camp by the checkout To make sure that they can find their own way back The frozen food is hiding high above you So unless your with somebody very tall You need to bring your crampons and your ice axe All the freezers are now fitted up the wall There's a woman in the aisle just by the bog rolls Distraught with tears running down both cheeks She sent her kids to find digestive biscuits She's not seen them now for nigh on near a week We've been lost in Aldi now since Friday morning Need to let the outside world know that we're in here We thought we'd try a message in a bottle But we can't find were theyve move the bloody beer As time goes by we'll all become accustomed We accept if there's no pain there is no gain And we'll just get used to all the new positions Then they'll move the bloody lot around again So we've had our whinge and criticised the system But we'll all stick fast with Aldi in the end 'cause if we shop at Asda, Morrisons or Sainsburys We won't have any money left to spend Hear the song here https://youtu.be/4ku9vPYb0YM?si=4Bor-I3waGINWr0O GD (Graham Dixon) |
