Bob Wolpert - runs Pete Seeger FB page

Does anyone here know Robert Walpole who wrote marvellously informative posts about Pete Seeger and other folk artists on a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/38510854398

Robert Walpole is, or was, a maths tutor who lives/lived in Jenkintown Pennsylvania. He last posted on the "Pete Seeger" Facebook page on 29 June. A "Barb Borden" has posted that she searched for information and found an obituary. We don't know whether or not this is true.
I found his LinkedIn page but he hasn't posted recently and I can't send a LinkedIn message as I haven't got a premium account.

Here is a video of Bob Wolpert speaking about his interest in Pete Seeger. The mystery of where he is, what happened, is he alive or dead, is not solved. https://philastories.org/stories/all-stories/view/bob-wolpert/

Looks like they fixed it, Felipa.

There is an online obituary of Robert 'Pa' Wolpert of Lincoln, not Jenkintown, who died on 7 June 2024, well before Bob Wolpert’s last posting on Facebook. So Barb Bordner's posting on Facebook may be a red herring.

Larry Kronquist writes on the Pete Seeger Facebook page, "I tracked down a nephew of his (using internet information) and messaged him about Bob's status (dead or alive?) That is how I learned that Bob was in the hospital and had no computer access. He is getting better, so hopefully we will hear from him in the near future."

So that's positive news. It is strange to me that no-one I can come across in the international "folkie" community seems to know Bob personally, including the many followers and the co-administrators of the FB Pete Seeger page.
