He was indeed a pleasant and intelligent man, a good organiser, singer and also a good guitarist. Barbara and I have happy memories of Burnley Folk Club which Alex organised with some enthusiasm and there was many an occasion he organised, both in Burnley and beyond, in which we enjoyed his company along with his cherished 'Guild guitar. |
