Yes, Amazon does some print-on-demand, but I believe that is in association with particular publishers who don't produce hard-copies. These are mainly small, vanity-type concerns. As far as mainstream publishers go, books I have bought from Amazon over many many years have been the same article as found in bricks-and-mortar retailers. |
