29 Jan 25 - 03:55 PM (#4216218) Subject: Tune Req: Tune Needed (also a title) From: Pappy Fiddle The website asks me if I've checked for This Topic First? So I hit Search but I get a 505 error. I think that means no one's ever thought such things as this. I have fun writing lyrics and putting tunes to them, but they never go anywhere 'cause I don't get asked to perform very often, probly for good reason. This one seems to have some fizz. So why don't some of you see if you can fit a tune to it and have fun. Knock selfs out ---------------- Old Pappy Fiddle Makes up words and riddles To while away the time Instead of cutting the hay (like this:) Rabbit and Toad Hopped on down the road Seeking adventures And maybe some gold With adventure leading the way Laissait le bon temps rouler He spent all his time Making poems sublime But his fiddling was really quite awful We don't carp or whine Cause his songs tho rustic are joyful Gramma Fiddle Is learning to yodel Or at least we think that's what she's doin After she's practiced then you can ask us, to Laissait le bon temps rouler |
