Country Meets Folk

An enthusiast has released into the public domain over 250 recordings of CMF from 1968 to 1971 - the last is numbered 270. Only about 50 are missing. The quality is good being digitised from cassettes. Sadly the announcement of these was summarily deleted from Facebook, and the response here was negative.

Not withstanding the negativity some 30 episodes have now been uploaded temporarily to

plus the last one no. 270.

The rest of the episodes will either be kept privately or even deleted for lack of storage.

Listen to what’s available whilst you can.

Well no negativity here, as someone who often went up the Charing Cross on a Saturday to be in the audience, this is gold dust to me. So thank you very much.

Go to the Archive dot org page for CMF and scroll down. All the download links for all episodes are there for a few weeks.

Incidentally there is a set of 13 CMF transcription disks selling on eBay. They are excellent and are the best of the best of the episodes.
