28 Nov 25 - 02:53 PM (#4232257) Subject: Musical Traditions site down? From: Reinhard The site mustrad.co.uk shows an error message since this morning. I tried to alert Rod Stradling with an email to his address that worked in January but it bounced as undeliverable. Does anybody know how to reach him? |

Viewing it via the Internet Archive the last screenshot they made was on October 5 of this year. You can view parts of the site through that portal. |

01 Dec 25 - 02:17 PM (#4232365) Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: GUEST,Howard Jones I don't think Rod is involved any longer. The online magazine was taken over by Reinhard Zierke, who also runs "Mainly Norfolk", and MT Records has been taken over by Mossy Christian, who has also taken on the Veteran label formerly rung by the late John Howson. This was explained in Rod's Editorial of 11.2.21, which is now available again. |

01 Dec 25 - 02:33 PM (#4232366) Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Steve Gardham Rod is still running the main website, and it was Reinhard who made the initial post. His emails are bouncing. That's the worry. |

01 Dec 25 - 03:17 PM (#4232370) Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Reinhard Howard, the MusTrad site still belongs to Rod. I do have a hopefully complete mirror running in a subdomain under Mainly Norfolk (except for the search functionality which is external) and I'm ready to offer the contents if and when Rod won't or can't continue. But I will not push him aside. Since I haven't heard from him since early last year I was concerned when the MusTrad site ran into problems last Friday; that's why I asked if somebody knew how to contact Rod. |

02 Dec 25 - 02:47 PM (#4232413) Subject: RE: Musical Traditions site down? From: Steve Gardham Rod has had a fall and is recovering from this, which would explain some of the mystery, but emails bouncing I don't know about. I could understand him not replying yet to emails but don't understand the bouncing. I hope he recovers quickly. |
