31 Dec 25 - 01:16 PM (#4233630) Subject: Red Falcon (Ron Baxter) From: GUEST,Bernadette & Graham (Trouble at' Mill I’ve heard my friend, Ron Baxter, (Artist, Poet, Songwriter and well known character on Fleetwood Folk Club and Festival scene) sing this, in his own inimitable style, a couple of times. Both times those last two verses brought a tear to my eye. I asked Ron if he would mind if Bernadette & I had a go at doing something with it. He gave me a free hand. (We have arranged a new tune). Hope you like it. The Trawler ‘Red Falcon’ (Fleetwood) was lost in December 1959 – Ron was a boy, at the time, he remembers the disaster.
