From: Mbo Just had to tell you folks--for my college Design II class, we have to make a stringed instrument of our own invention--I have opted to make the AMAZING MUDCAT GUITAR. It's going to be a bass guitar shaped like a giant catfish! I've got all the schematics worked out--and over the next few weeks I will be building it! My ultimate tribute to the Mudcat and all it's members! When it's done, I'll take a picture of it, and have bbc post it on my picture page. Just wanted to let you all know. From: GUEST,Mbo I'm sorry to disappoint folks, but--the instrument will have strings made of wire--and thought the will have to make sound--the instrument is not supposed to be tuned or anything. No tuning pegs, just some fancy screws and hardware. But then again--you know me--I play tunes on elastic bands, cans, anything--I can probably pick out a tune on it! And the first thing I'll play is ELO's "The Whale"! And Willie--why am I going to be caned? --Mbo |
