From: Guy Wolff Hello to all, I just got the most beautifull little guitar for slide work..It is called a Kallamazoo Senior and looks like a small bodied drednaught.. What I mean is it looks lke a drednaught but is smaller then my 018 martin.. The sound is incredable..My question is dose anyone have any idea what age it could be.. It has a wanderfull checkerboard around the soundhole, is black and very very light in wieght..My guess is mid 30's but I am just a guesser..Dose anyone know what model Robert Jonhson played before he got that little Gibson.. Was it the Kalamazoo that burnt up in the fire??? All the |

Remember that Kalamazoo was their "depression line" just like Martin had their 0-17. I've recently seen two "Kel Croydens"!! Went 30 years without seeing one...and now 2 in one week. Rick |

Garnet (see "Liam..thread") brought by two of his Roy Smeck stage deluxe guitars tonight and I tried to trade him out of one of them. He might bite! I've got a plastic Maccaferri that he wants.
