There has been a lot of discussion about Johnson guitars in the newsgroup: rec.music.makers.guitars.acoustic Try a DejaNews search. Also there was a thread some years ago that discussed resonator guitars and the Johnson was mentioned. The person who started the thread had the codename "Gene". (Come to think of it he hasn't posted for a long time! Are you out ther lurking, Gene?) They make ordinary acoustics as well as resonators. Some of them are made in China and others are made one of the former "Iron Curtain" countries. Murray |
