This was asked for in another thread, and I reckon it deserves to be in the DT.

PS.

There's no indication on the CD whether A.P. Carter claimed composition credit for this, as he did with many songs that he did not actually write. Charles Wolfe notes that Sara said that it was one that 'A.P. sang around the house all the time' and that the Carters were the first to record it.

It is a lovely solo from A.P.

BMI lists 11 different songs by that title
None are by A.P.
That usually means it is an OLDER SONG
of unknown ORIGINAL copyright/ownership

Hi, Stewie - if a song has been requested in another thread, it's best to keep things together and post the lyrics with the request. Just make sure the word "ADD" is in the "Subject" box of your reply message with the lyrics. There's no need to start a new thread for your reply - that makes things very confusing. Thanks.
