Chorus goes "She's My Katy, Little Lady, and I Love Her" One line fragment is "But I'd only (something) for her, I'd only (something else)" I think in one verse they're playing hide & seek, she forgets to keep looking & goes off somewhere while he's still hiding & waiting for her to find him. Can anyone help? Thanks! |

I read somewhere once that Tom wrote the song for his younger daughter Katy at that time so she would have her own song just like her older sister Jennifer (i.e. "Jennifer's Rabbit")

See my entry on the "e-mail address" thread re: I almost missed seeing this, had given up looking for it specifically since there had been no answer for so long; & had not happened to check this site for several days now ... and I don't always go back very far, depending how much time I have ... if I'd left my "age" setting at three days & not checked until tomorrow, I could have missed this altogether!
