03 Mar 00 - 12:13 PM (#188794) Subject: RE: Help: Cajun song texts From: RWilhelm There is an excellent book by Ann Allen Savoy called _Cajun Music, A Reflection of a People_ published by Bluebird Press. It contains dozens of traditional Cajun songs in French with English translations. It also has notes on playing styles, biographies of Cajun musicians, and some wonderful old pictures. Highly recommended |
