From: lamarca We just got this week's issue of the New Yorker magazine, and there's a nice write-up of the Southport Sea Museum shanty singers in the events listings, quoting our own Liam's brother. Can't remember the date on the issue, but it's the one with Art Spiegelman's cover illustrating March slumping in like a lion and roaring out like a lamb. Check it out! |

I tried to find it online, but it seems they don'tallow that. I did see the cover you mention at their website www.newyorker.com...take a while to download. For any newbies who might be wondering, Liam's brother, here at the Mudcat, is probably quoted by the New Yorker as "Dan Milner" and you can find out more about him in the Quick Links at bbc's Mducat Resources, just look for his profile. Congratulations, Dan! katlaughing |
