Anybody ken the words for "I'm left, you're right, she's gone", by Stanley Kesler and William Taylor, recently recorded by Tom Jones, with James Dean Bradfield. Who first dunnit?

Elvis did it back in his Sun days, which means, of course, that RCA rereleased it. (I bought every one of the RCA rereleases back in my youth.) I believe it was a lesser-known C&W hit when he picked it up. It would certainly be on the "Sun Sessions" CD from RCA.

(Suddenly, I'm having a twinge of doubt -- maybe Elvis recorded it just *after* going over to RCA...a resident expert is sure to enlighten us in this.)

James, now in Paris
