Need melody line in notation or abc for Rose of Old Pawnee, spose lyrics would be ok too, but I really need the tune. Little old man at the nursing home wants it. Think it's Gene Autry among others, most recently John Hartford. No luck at cowpie.

I first heard it by Marty Robbins, late 50s, if that is of use to anyone. Come to think of it, I never have heard any other versions, but of course, there probably are.

the late,great country singer,marty robbins had a great version of that song on a columbia album back in the late 50's.i'm sure it can be found on classic country cd's now or in a marty robbins collection.a beatuliful song,one of my favorites by marty.
