I think one verse -- at any rate -- went "something" like this: There was a little manand he had a little house// A(something) little (something)and a (something) little mouse. (Two more unforgettable lines in each verse, of course) Something like that. Are you sure you have the title right? I keep thinking it was "Don't let the rain come down" but this could be wrong. Haven't heard the song since late, late fall or very early winter of 1963, which is when it achieved a brief popularity. I am sure of that. |
