lolipop-lolipop --- ok i know it's not folk/blues but i was singing what i know of it - at my goddaughters' Birthday party (3 yrs old today) and the kids enjoyed it -- so i'd like to fill in the blanks --

Lollipop was sung by the Chordettes, one of the best female groups of the earliest rock & roll years. Many great songs, incl. Born to Be With You.

Thanks, Gene! I knew someone would pipe up with the group. I just saw "American Hot Wax" yesterday and the Chordettes (not the real ones) were on there, looking cute & perky--and the HAIR, oh my god, the hair.

And thosp, you're very welcome--all I could remember was the lollipop part, too. hahaha You're right, kids will have a jolly old time with this one. Happy singing!
