Lyr Req: Nellie J Banks +Tales of the Phantom Ship

Any ideas where I can find the lyrics for "The Nellie J. Banks", and also for "Tales of the Phantom Ship" or titles I might try looking under?

Bill, I like your taste in music. I've been looking in DT and a few other places for these lyrics to try and save myself some time but your post yesterday prompted me to transcribe the lyrics from a tape I have at home. I think it's fairly accurate except maybe the spelling of the captain's name. I also managed to work out most f the chords starting with Em. If I figure out the rest, I'll post them later. Enjoy, Bob

There's Captain Millington at the helm, he comes from Newfoundland.
With a bottle of brandy always on the deck, and an extra case on hand.
He's drunk and he has a leeward stance, but he sails the schooner true.
And the government cutters simply fall astern, when he shows what the Banks can do.

Late in the night when the moon don't shine, you'll find her off Georgetown.

Well the government cutters the hugged the shore with a glass upon rum row.
For they know the Nellie Banks is out upon the bay, and the runner is sure to show.

I believe both are by Lennie Gallant from Rustico PEI. Evans and Doherty have the Nellie J. Banks on their latest CD that they did with Liam Clancy.

Jar O'Comfort did a nice version of Lennie Gallants song. I don't think the group is together anymore but Gordon Belsher is still very active in singing/recording and playing with a great P.E.I fiddler Cynthia MacLeod.
He is also nominated for an up coming Roots Award at the ECMA.

A short story from my side of the family.
A Canadian Folklore group called "Heart Rouge" recorded a tragic (in song)story of a little girl lost and perished in a blizzard up around Tignish Prince Edward Island. I believe the actual place was called Palmer Road. Anyway, Mum was was given this c/d as a gift and upon hearing the story she immediately said it was not true because this little girl was found and brought in the house by so and so. I know because I was a little girl of about five. Mum passed away two years ago at 92.

thanks for the response, being a seaman myself sometimes it takes awhile for me to get to these adds. anyway i checked out lenny galants website and saw the lyrics to the song and it did say Lillington so it got lost in translation some where i guess???
