31 Mar 00 - 11:38 AM (#204564) Subject: MP3 players From: MandolinPaul I am finally getting a new computer, with a pile of memory. What are the best MP3 players for PC's out there, and where can I get them? Free would be nice (spent all of my money on the computer). Thanks Paul. |

Go to www.mp3.com & look in their software section. You'll find links to many players. If you're using the latest Windows you'll probably find that Windows Media Player will play mp3's.
Cheers,

I have used several mp3 players and I have found winamp to be the most bug free, with winamp you can convert wav files to mp3 and vice versa also you can change a CD track to mp3 and send it as an e-mail attachment. |

31 Mar 00 - 08:29 PM (#204837) Subject: RE: MP3 players From: Brendy As said above, there are a lot of MP3 players out there. MusicMatch can record to and from a CD, has a Line in facility, converts WAV files into various MP3 formats, and vice versa. And it's free. On the other hand, in spite of all the negative publicity, Napster is a great wee utility that, although not 100% successful in retrieving everything, is about the easiest and most straightforward one out there (IMHO). It is, of course, free. B. |

Let me know if it works. I've downloaded it but havn't had time to use it yet. Toad |
