I know that astrictly speaking this is not music, but I heard a great recitacion years ago which started:- "Iwonder, now, what Rab would say about the fasions of today;
What would he thin=k of the short skirt movement
Like me, he'd think it a great improvement....

I believe it was po-pular in East donegall.

Any help would be appreciated. Andy

The rhythm - what little of it there is - is reminiscent of Robert Burns' poetry. Is this the Rab referred to? A very long shot, but East Donegal (one "l") was very much under the influence of the Ulster Scots colonisers of the 17th. Century who settled both land and natives and brought both to a state of hitherto unknown civilisation. Trevor
