I'm travelling to Mass., and will be in Boston and Southern Maine next weekend (5/5/00 to 5/7/00). Anyone know of clubs, concerts, or song circles that would be worthwhile? I'm familiar with the area, grew up there many years ago, but I've been on the west coast for ~30 yrs. Thanks for the help.

I don't have listings with me, but I'll dig them up. Someone will probably beat me to it, though.

I do know that the Folk Song Society of Greater Boston is doing a performance of Bound for Glory on Saturday night.

No muss, no fuss. Hop on the "T" this Saturday, May 6th, travel to the Stony Brook station on the MBTA's fabulous Orange Line, and you're there! How easy can it be?

You'll be at the "Wake Up the Earth" festival, an all-day street fair featuring lots of entertainment,
