05 May 00 - 01:17 AM (#223356) Subject: Maggie Christl in Boston From: Judy Predmore Maggie Christl will be the guest performer of the singers club at Paddy Burke's, 3rd floor, 132 Portland St. Boston, MA near North Station, this coming Wednesday May 10th at 9:00pm. Maggie has a "Christl" clear, beautiful voice. She sings traditional ballads & songs, & some original songs, with a strong, passionate delivery. Maggie grew up in Scotland, now lives in the U.S., & has performed around the world. I'm not sure if she'll be accompanied on guitar by her husband Michael Johnston. There's a modest admission fee. She'll probably do two 30 - 45 minute sets. And we'll have floor singing before each set - so bring a song if you want to sing. You can email or call me for more information judypredmore@webtv.net (781) 891 - 0457 Maybe we'll post more information in the next few days... |
