10 May 00 - 10:43 AM (#225797) Subject: Help name a band!! From: alison You all helped me to name a band before.. now I need help again. We need to have a name in the next few days.... There are 3 of us.. playing a mixture of Australian, Irish, Celtic, rock, pop, and tunes.. but we don't want a name that will pigeonhole us into one particular area, (so anything with "bush band" in it - is automatically ruled out). Having said that we would like to sound Australian, (hard to please...I know..*grin*). there are 3 of us ....2 fellas (1 Aussie, 1 English)and me (Irish). I know someone out there is bound to have more ideas than we do at the moment..... thanks slainte alison

Anyway, this weekend, Karen (the self titled Queen of band) said we were "Eammon's Kitchen, otherwise known as Hillbillies on Guinness!" We have been accused of having bluegrass flavor to our music, so this comment was quite appropriate. Maybe you could develop something off of that idea ... good luck! |
