14 May 00 - 03:40 PM (#227903) Subject: Midi Programs From: paddyc I've heard of a program that supposedly if you have a midi file it will notate the music for you. Does such a program exist? If it does, does anyone know how/where I can get it? All the best, The Ceilidh Cowboy. |

You may download a demo from www.cakewalk.com , and many sources of information if you search the word Cakewalk in Altavista seeker. The printed score will have all the notes and lines but not the lyrics and author's indications. A possibly better program, though not so easy to manage, is ENCORE which you may download from www.secrel.com.br/usuarios/musica/ A search of Mudcat threads for the last year, on the word NoteWorthy, will give you information on the NoteWorthy Composer (which I haven't tried yet but looks very good), whose home is http://NoteWorthyComposer.com Best of luck - Andrés
