02 Jul 97 - 06:21 AM (#7915) Subject: Last of The Mohicans From: Lidi Hi! In the movie Last of the mohicans it appears a couple of folk-inspired tunes...I have been looking for some kind of soundtrack to that movie, without success though.. Does anyone know the name of the composer or if there is a soundtrack to that movie? Sincerely Lidi |
02 Jul 97 - 11:49 AM (#7934) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: Rick Music composers for Last of the Mohicans are credited as Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman. I'm afraid I can't find the soundtrack though - cdworld.com don't have it. HTH Rick. |

07 Jul 97 - 07:06 AM (#8134) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: cleod Funny you should ask this...I just saw the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack at this CD store near us; there's a song by Clannad in it, which is why I picked it up in the first place...I'll check as to what the serial no and the company who made it are, okay? |
07 Jul 97 - 06:12 PM (#8171) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: Lidi cleod, so there is a soundtrack after all? I really would like to have it.....please check that out for me, will you? An by the way, where are you from? I ask this because where I´m from I don´t think that bloody soundtrack exists. Lidi |
08 Jul 97 - 03:13 AM (#8198) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: Rick Lidi following up cleod's mention of Clannad, I have come across a page at The Unofficial Clannad Website The song is "I will find you" (from the Clannad album Banba CD RCA 74321 13961 2 (UK)) Unfortunately this page also doesn't seem to know how to get the soundtrack of the movie! However it does have the words and a sound clip from the track if that's any help. HTH Rick. |

10 Jul 97 - 08:41 AM (#8385) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: Suzy Rick: How did you do that? Making "The Unofficial Clannad Website" Underlined and highlighted, ready for one to click upon? |
11 Jul 97 - 03:23 AM (#8483) Subject: RE: Last of The Mohicans From: Rick It's a trick I learned from somebody else in this forum. You take the address of the web site, for instance http://www.onstagemedia.com/mudcat and wrap it up as follows: !a href=......?Digitrad!/a? but instead of typing ! you type < instead of typing ? you type > and you replace the ....... with the address. The word Digitrad will then be highlighted. The end result is you create an HTML tag which your browser recognises - it does the underlining and highlighting. HTH Rick |

04 Aug 11 - 06:19 AM (#3201517) Subject: RE: Tunes from 'The Last of the Mohicans' From: GUEST,kenny There's undoubtedly a soundtrack CD from the film. Dougie MacLean had a gold disc - for the use of his composition used in the film - on the wall of the "Tayside Bar" in Dunkeld, Perthshire. He doesn't own the pub any more, but I think it's still there. |
