I have had some wise words given to me lately by people who I respect and I think it is time to get rid of the persona of 'littleness' I created. I don't think I want to call myself 'Banjo Bonnie', ever since I was told it sounded like an 'Old Chevy', I got turned off. I will call my new moniker 'Bonnie' because that is who I am. Bonnie |

As I understand it, names are not removed from the Mudcat roster, they can simply be made inactive. You become known by your user name & it is confusing if you change it. On his birthday (12th I think) he has to decide which name will be his for life. He takes out a library card to make his choice, Nick, official. (I think I remember this correctly, Its been a long time since I've seen the film but the idea that we choose what we want to be has always stuck with me). Banjo Bonnie conjured up images of the frontier and an independent woman with me. Certainly not "an Old Chevy"! Course, Banjos (and their players) are instantly attractive to me so I would never make the connection to old car parts. It's all in the minds eye I guess. Anyway, like in the Movie, be true to yourself Bonnie. To hell what everyone else thinks, and we will just have to live with, and like, whatever you choose.
