At Yahoo! Music I found sound samples of 2 different recordings by Dave Van Ronk and one by Choo Choo Charlie Williams. Piecing them together, I was able to come up with this much of a transcription: ...Sunday Street. I'll get a pair o' dice that makes me seven all the time. Gonna be livin' on chicken an' wine. I will transcribe and post the lyrics over the next day or two. Stefan Grossman (www.guitarvideos.com) sells some tape lessons (audio & video, both) of Van Ronk. I particularly like the audio tape series (6 cassettes) both for the lessons and for listening to Van Ronk speak in a way only he could. The audio lessons are so detailed, that you simply cannot miss learning Sunday Street or any of the other 15-20 songs. |
