He's a looney..... There are some people known to this forum who believe that Cleckheaton does not exist, but just pops up for the festival, sort of like Brigadoon. Interesting theory, is it really there when we aren't? LTS |

There are so many good acts. upstairs in the George is good. The Cricket pavillion I never got to last year. See you soon Eric |

04 Jun 00 - 04:40 PM (#238176) Subject: RE: Attending the Cleckheaton Festival From: Jack The Lad I believe it exists- buses go there from Leeds- unless they disappear down a big hole- or carry off their travellers to be enslaved in the Pudsey treacle mines. Well, we'll see you there then. I'll be wearing a beard and round glasses- but then, who won't? Jack The Lad. |
04 Jun 00 - 06:30 PM (#238193) Subject: RE: Attending the Cleckheaton Festival From: cujimmy I'm sure there is a message board in the town hall ( festival base ) there are a number of pub's where catters could meet - the wickham being a good suggestion. |
