Apparently, everyone's getting error messages. I'm no expert on the inner workings of the Mudcat, but it looks to me like the auction blew up and every time it's the little auction window's turn to pop up, we get an error message. Trying to access the auction page yields a similar message. So, no, you're not alone. Then again, are we ever really alone when we have the Mudcat?

I think the auctioneer is "tongue tied." That's the technical term for it I think........Either that or "focked up"...one or the other.

I wonder if this is the growing pains of another 'Cat expansion? Max had warned us a while ago to expect occasional problems as more was added...

It's an interesting error message (the one I've been getting, anyhow), in that it's clearly intended for the site administrator, not for us.  Looks like a problem on the server?  Anyway, as I expect you've found, a couple of refreshes deals with it.

A copy of the message has been posted to the help forum and I suspect Pne is correct in his diagnosis. Have to wait and see what Max can do tommorrow now.

I've checked things threough, and I think Pene's right on the connection with the auction page. Gee, that guy is pretty smart. I hope Max can fix the rpblem soon. In the meantime, the trick is to click the "refresh" button on your browser if you get an error message on the Forum Home page. There are problems with the auction and Forum Home, but everything else seems to be working normally.
I'm off to the Everglades. See y'all in a couple of weeks.

Not being subject to this particular bug, I probably shouldn't be contributing to this thread...

BUT...

The database which I manage at work, virtually blew up today, and I have had such a bad bad day... and you know what, I felt reassured that I'm not alone.... that someone else was having system problems..

May not comfort you much , but it sure as hell comforts me..
