UK Hearme?

There's nothing on the telly, too wet to go in the garden, I'll hang about in the Hearme for half an hour or so in case anyone fancies a sing. I haven't been able to join in the American ones as I'm not at my best in the early hours of the morning!!
I'll have to use a link from another session, 'cos I don't know how......Bron.

I'm just off to play in a pub, or I'd try to get my head round this and tune in to it. Have fun.

Here's a link for you, Bron. I am a little busy right now, but will try maybe in a bit. Good luck and keep trying, sometimes it takes a bit for folks to get it.

AOL were doing something funny, so I've had to come out of Hearme. I'll try again later on, say 11pm BST? Talk to you then? Bron.

I'll see if I can get back then - with the mic back working!

Hope it worked. If not, give it time. "If you build it, they will come", as the man said.

One thing occurs - the UK doesn't include all kinds of places where Mudcatters live in the same time zone - starting with Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Isles. Maybe "British Standard Time HearMe?"

Count me in for a 'British *Summer* Time' Hear me- I can only do late nights in holiday times.

For the benefit of those among us who haven't tried it yet, is there a guide to how to set up for Hearme?

The last time I tried it I had such a crap connection that I gave up. Can't wait to get ISDN or ADSL or whatever.

I've got a 256k pipe at the office but I can't get a tune out of it!

Alan, assuming you have a PC with a sound card, it is probably best just to try it and see what happens. The help link on my page does provide a link to the Hearme FAQ which should answer most other questions.
