Jennifer wrote the song and produced the recording. Even if Jennifer weren't my friend, I'd love this CD. It features glorious, soaring vocals from Maddy Prior that go waaay up into the stratosphere, brilliant Richard Thompson-style guitar by John Jennings, drumming by Dave Mattacks (Fairport Convention), plus first-rate lyrics and a great organ hook by Jennifer. Some of you may remember Jennifer from her stint as leader of the folk rock band, The New St. George. This CD single marks a new phase in her career. She is planning a CD that will feature the best artists on the folk scene performing her original compositions and arrangements of traditional songs.
