I'm not sure if you're looking for group singing opportunities or gigs. Here's what I know about sessions. There's a rather loud (background noise) session in Portsmouth NH on Friday nights, there's a mostly singing session in Dover NH on Thu nights, and a relatively new, primarily instrumental session in Concord NH on Tue nights. If you'd like more details, please send me a personal message or e-mail me.

Hi Hoolet. Nashau is about 25 minutes west of me & about 45 minutes north of Boston. There's a great singing session (we tend to shy away from book singing & might be sighted for being a little to laid back but we sure do have a good time singing the moon into an uproar) on Wed. evenings that I usually go to (along with other Mudcatters' like Judy P & Deb C & a once in awhile Peg), if that's your type of thing it's at Paddy Burke's on Portland St. near the new Fleet Center, if you're in need of a lift (or who ever you're with) let me know, I could swing over for you. There's also a coffeehouse somewhere in Nashua & on in Londonderry (20 minutes east of Nashua) called the Grey Goose. The Press Room which Jeri mentioned above is probably close to 1 1/2 hrs. east of you. If you check out the Thrusday edition of the Boston Globe's Calendar section they've got a great folk listing & I believe you can access it though their web site. I'll check back in (e-mail is ncrbf@worldnet.att.net ). Barry

Barry....

I'm sure you know, but, for the benefit of those looking for bookings, the aforementioned coffeehouse is called "The Muse." It's located at the Grey Goose complex in Londonderry, and has been booking class acts for some time.

We recently saw Eric Andersen, who was excellent.

A pity it's dry, but I guess I can manage for a few hours at a time.

Thanks to all but our trip has had to be cancelled at very short notice due to the serious illness of a relative. If it is rearranged then I will be back in touch
