The child was placed in foster care by the state Child Protective Services after the incident Wednesday at the La Casa Apartments. The boy's mother was sleeping in a nearby apartment, police said. She told police she didn't know where the weapon came from. Maybe one of them left their gun behind...Also, I believe the term for taking a gun away from someone is "disarming" so the fact that the cops "had to disarm" the toddler may just mean they took the gun away from him. |
