23 Jun 00 - 07:29 PM (#246772) Subject: Pause for a commercial message From: Jim the Bart Mudcatters in or passing through) the Chicago area: Beginning on July 1, 2000 I will be hosting an acoustic open stage at the Vail St. Cafe, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Sign in at 7:30; music from 8:00 - 10:00'ish. Arlington Heights is a suburb northwest of Chicago. The place is nice, the coffee is very good, and all 'Catters are (needless to say)welcome. The cafe has been there for years, and always had great music before local construction made it difficult to continue. Now it is under new management and will have acoustic music on the weekends on a regular basis. I hope to see lots of you sometimes, or some of you lots of times, or however that works. . . |

I'm not familiar with the venue but I did live in Evanston from 1967-1969 and thought it was cool. Again good luck and give my best reguartds to the windy city. Neil |
