Help: jazzy John Anderson

In the last few years, someone recorded a terrific version of "John Anderson, My Jo" - it had almost a blues-shuffle tempo, and the woman singing had a great, low, rich voice. Can anyone identify the singer from this description & tell me the name of the CD it was on? Thanks.

Hi, Can it be Elspeth Cowie and "Chantan"? The CD is called "Primary colours", Culburnie Records.

It was indeed on Primary Colours Chantan, but I also recorded it with accompaniment on The Devil's Delight album with the band Seannachie. Best wishes.
