06 Jul 00 - 10:48 PM (#253201) Subject: RE: HearMe Now! July 6th 2000 From: Mary in Kentucky Jon Freeman (Mr. Sexy Accent himself) just sang Old Black Joe. Never heard it before quite like that. Here in Bardstown, Kentucky we have the Stephen Foster Story, an outdoor drama, and this song is one of the show-stoppers. Mary |

06 Jul 00 - 11:09 PM (#253207) Subject: RE: HearMe Now! July 6th 2000 From: katlaughing Hahah, Amergin, not a little impatient, eh? LOL!! We had some new voices in there, well relatively, which is really neat to see! Animaterra was in for her second time, singing beautifully, too! Dwditty visited between washing up kids, Amergin sang a couple of really nice tunes, Jon did wondefully as usual, and even Jan, the Guest from her own successful thread, "I can't change it" came in, wonderful to see and hear new people! I sang:
Hobo's Lullaby Thanks, all, kat |

07 Jul 00 - 07:58 AM (#253335) Subject: RE: HearMe Now! July 6th 2000 From: AllisonA(Animaterra) It was fun! I sang Return Again (by Ms. Anon.) Fit for heroes (Barker/Carthy) Stone Face (Bill Staines) Some of "Hard Times" I've been really nervous about HearMe and I have to say the thrill I got while singing Hard Times and seeing people type in that they were singing too was just great! I almost felt as tho' we were singing in the same room. Hearme is fun- if you haven't tried it, do- even if you don't have a mike, you can listen in. |

07 Jul 00 - 09:32 AM (#253367) Subject: RE: HearMe Now! July 6th 2000 From: MMario yeah, right, animaterra, as if you should be nervous singing anywhere! I heard you at Old Songs![Note: though I will admit being nervous about something doesn't necessarily mean not being excellent] And it's my deepest regret I didn't HearYou on HearMe. |
