I didn't find it in the database. I think it's modern, so if anyone knows who wrote and/or recorded it, please let me know. It's in kind of a mock country/western tone. The chorus is:
I spent my last ten dollars on birth control and beer. Anyone who recognizes this, please help. Thanks ERIN |

29 Nov 96 - 08:37 PM (#615) Subject: RE: Lyrics? Spent my last $10... From: lilitu@cjnetworks.com The song is by the group Two Nice Girls, and, as far as I know, it's out of print, since their CDs came out on Rough Trade. It's on at least two of their CDs, and I have it on the EP _Like a Version_, which is all cover songs, except for that one song. I think this is their second release. It's also on their first full-lenght release, but I don't know the name of it. Unfortunately, I don't have the lyrics on the CD, and I haven't transcribed them, but now that you know the group, you should probably be able to find it used. Hope this is of some help. Renee |
