RogerinS,

Just click on the link. If you have a sound card you will be able to listen in by clicking on where it says "song circle" when you get there.

Dulci has a beautiful voice and plays wonderfully, as well.

It probably looks like I left rudely - but my pc disconnected and now I'm having trouble getting back on to the hearme site. I'm still trying though

And read, Bullwinkle's Revenge from Song Challenge Part 12, written by LeeJ or Amos, if I remember correctly...dated 02-29-00, the author name got cut off on my print out

Nice time.

I did Claude Dallas by Tyson and Russell and Sometimes When I Get to Thinking by Buffy St. Marie...the latter was in response to someone's comment about how few good songs about happy, successful, relationships there are.

I am going to rip off Micca's song about his Grandfather and WWI, and also the one about the custard. See if I don't!

But don't worry. If we release a recording of the custard one, I'll pay royalties.

Peter.

Now, I understand all the sentiment regarding HearMe. It was very cool and good therapy for me. I could listen to dwditty sing the blues all night! It was a good way to exercise my bum wrist. I played and sang:

Last Thing On My Mind (Tom Paxton); Gone, Long Gone (From the Trio II CD); Fare Thee Well (trad song from the Mary Black Collected CD)

It's a great way to "audition" new material. After all, if your friends won't be honest with you, who will?

It was great fun as always, although I couldn't stay to long. My friend Tim got a real charge out of singing Were You There When They Nailed Hime to the Cross. It was soo good I could help but joining in on some harmony. And, you all behaved so nicely*BG*

I was in-again-out-again-Finnegan for techno reasons.

Still plagued with the low-volume problem, although I've cranked it up all the way in audio configuration. I have to "eat the mike" to be heard.

Don't remember what all I did, but it included the following:

All In A Garden Green
Frozen Logger
ahhhhh....... (didn't make notes; sorry.)

Dave, have you tried boosting your mic volume? Open widows volume control and click on advanced. Make sure the mic boost box is checked.

I had a similar problem recently Dave but in my case it turned out to be a problem with the sound card. I resolved it by fitting a second very cheap soundcard for my mic input - not an ideal solution but it does the job and it saved me having to buy a soundcard with decent wave table systhesis to replace the old one.
