Where are you?! Part II

Vermilion!?! Wow! Last time I was there, I blew into town just in time for the Town Band Festival in July. Great stuff! Really, fellow 'Catters, if you ever can, go to SD for a visit; this state has the best sense of humor of them all. Any place that could think of an idea like the world/s biggest prarie dog, much less maintain it for all these years, is fine in my book. And if you're going to Mount Rushmore, ask in Rapid City how to get on the old, back route in (I think it's alt. 14 or 16), its much prettier.Me, I'm in Youngstown, Ohio, right on the Ohio-Pennsylvania border. I was born and raised here, but spent my checkered youth in upstate New York. I was the only one in the family who could take over the family house, so I moved back. 25 acres of wooded land (inside city limits!) and a 200 year old house in a town where I could get a job is pretty good bait. I love the house and land, but not the town. I love to visit just about anywhere, but if I could choose a place to move, it would be either Saratoga Springs, New York, or Jonesborough, Tennessee. both aer fine towns for a folkie, and they're the only two places I've ever found where people don't tell me I'm strange.
