Please beautiful creatures share experiences. Didya see any good?!Any new love, unknown bands, good session?! I'd like to know what happened. My beloved father got there to work and I haven't heard him since. Now I need someone to reassure me that no fire or atomic bomb or Viking invasion happened there...that only an amazing festival took place. Cheers!

You can stop worrying Lena, it was great. I had a wonderful time, heard lots of good music of many types from all over the place. I thought your friends made some really good music, although I didn't get a chance to say hello for you. My one complaint was that it had to end and I had to go back to work.

So,if you saw them you can testify that the sound guy wasn't kidnapped or anything.Ffffiu. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Next year.Just hold on working for another year and WOMAD will be back... I actually have no idea about how it's like.Is it different from any other folkfest?!

There are Womad festivals at various locations around the globe, including one in Sydney. Although I guess that still might be quite a distance from you Lena?

As I live right in the middle of the city,it shouldn't be.It's probably just a time one.You know when it's on?! Thanks for definitely confirming that womad is all over the world. My dad kept on coming back from his travels'for work'with t-shirts saying Singapore Womad,Greenland(well...ehm...)Womad,Whatever Womad...it made my head spin. I like the idea of a folk festival invading the planet

Sorry Lena, a slight slip with my memory, the Australian Womad is actually in Adelaide next year (only about 1000k out).

I'm now going to attempt something I've never tried before, a link:

WOMAD Festivals
