31 Jul 00 - 02:15 PM (#268720) Subject: Cavin Town? Caven Town? From: GUEST,mryan I am still looking for information on a song that might be titled Cavin Town or Caven Town or something like that. I know that it was written by a man from Valdosta, GA and it won a prize for "Traditional Irish Flok Music" a few years back. If you have any idea what I am referring to, please help. A name or title or album would be most appreciated. P.S. If anyone answered the prior thread that I posted, I am sorry that I did not get the chance to check back over the past few days. |

31 Jul 00 - 07:42 PM (#268991) Subject: RE: Cavin Town? Caven Town? From: MartinRyan I think this is an even more recent song. Floating in the back of my head is a story about an American with Cavan roots who came back lately and produced a song - humorous, not-quite-sentimental? We're talking about a timescale of the last 3-5 years, at most... Regards
