I like to sign my mudcat messages with a sigblock with my email address and a "fortune cookie", aka a "quip". Most of the entries in my quip file are about cats, computers or general nonsense. i.e.:

I'm looking for one-liners about music. Even better, Cats & Music. Best of all: one-liners about Computers, Cats and Music!

Ya' know WD, I keep meaning to tell you..........Those are absolutely the worst looking and ugliest cats on the planet. Huge popped out eyes, long roman nose, coffin headed, monstrous batlike ears, skinny whip-like rat tail...........My gawd man, the hair is the least of it!!! Scrawny bodies, sort of arched backs, loooonnnnnggggg and really skinny legs..........Just an awful looking thing if I ever saw one!!!!

PS--For those of you who are not cat people, a Cornish Rex looks like a Sphinx with short curly hair.

I have to put up some more recent pix. Splotch, The Hairless Rat Tailed Wonder Cat (I wonder what he is up to now) and Fuzzee are the MOST affectionate cats I have ever known. Fuzzee is turning into a Devon Rex, though.

Splotch loves the blues, Fuzzee streaks out of the room whenever I put on Muddy Waters.

Cornish Rex are incredible lap cats. Moggie (original huh?) is always the first to any available lap. There is a breeder in Dayton and we walked into her house with 5 kids in tow and sat down. Within 2 minutes, each lap was occupied by a Cornish Rex.

They are also VERY limber and flexible and HIGH jumpers!!!

Splotch is a shoulder cat, Fuzzee is a demi-lap (have on the couch, half on my left leg. Splotch's purr could tumble the Empire State Building, Fuzzee sounds like a cement mixer. I'm thinking of sampling Splothum's purr and using it to play some music, ala "Jingle Cats", modulating it electronically... Should be Fun!
