04 Aug 00 - 01:37 PM (#271432) Subject: Thanks to Lark in the Morning From: Dave Swan Pam made the four hour drive home to celebrate my birthday, then beat feet the next day to return to her studies at Lark in the Morning Music Camp in Mendocino county in Northern California. Pam's completely taken with a place where she can learn from musicians and dancers practicing traditions from all over the world. We talked long into the night about Bulagarian singers, Morris Men, French pipers, cloggers, fiddlers, Chinese string players. They've got them all under the redwoods. She says it's a lot like the Lark catalogue come to life. I'm sure she'll have more to say about it when she returns. I wanted to recommend it to anyone who will be on the left coast this time next year. It's not too early to plan for it.
