Just wondering who your guest/guests might be tonight?

Sorry Steve. Missed this. I'm out the back winterising the shed.

Tonight's guest was a return engagement for Mike Phillips, world travelling sound man for The Stones, Dylan, Deep Purple, and many other big time bands. He's a fascinating guest, and even though we talked about a lot of technical stuff, we got many phone calls at the station. Fun show.

Rick,

I heard a lot of the show, and then at about 7:40 it seemed to go off the air, all I got was static. I found that ironic given that you were talking to CIUT's technical guru.

Neat guy though, I'll bet he has a story or two that isn't specific to Hammonds.

Irony ain't the word for it! The broadcasting tower went down, throwing about six stations into darkness. I had to drive him downtown to the tower, where he yelled at a few people.

Yah he's a very smart guy. I like him.

So, how about tonight, Rick? I suppose you are already at the station or almost to go, eh?

Well, here's a reminder phoaks, Rick's radio show, "Acoustic Workshop" can be accessed by CLICKING HERE. If I remember right, he comes on at 7pm EST/Mudcat time.

Damn - late again! Gotta get this work stuff off my plate so I can do the things that really matter!

Any hope yet of archived files for us to access after the fact??

Jed, you missed a pretty good show tonight and I had good reception for the entire hour. Rick played a couple....nice job on Ramblin Boy BTW.....and his guest tonight was Don...no scratch that...make it STEVE Porter who had a couple of real nice tunes he did in the studio. What kind of 12 Rick? Came across real nice!!!

Yup, had fun tonight. I'd never even heard of Steven Porter til I saw him do an open stage at the Eaglewood Festival. I really liked his approach and the intelligence of his writing. Nice guy too. His wife Jetta came down with him to the station and is very supportive.

I am sorry I missed it. This work stuff has gotta go! I enjoyed the last half of last week's show.
