14 Aug 00 - 03:11 PM (#277568) Subject: More Mudcat sound files From: Alice This information has dropped off in the Driveway.com thread and hidden in the Gender and Soprano thread, so here is a new attempt to bring them to your attention. There is a folder where I share some Mudcat related MP3 files at this address: click here
From the tapes recorded when Bill Sables and Allan C. were here on their trip, there is a file of Les B. singing, two files of Allan C. with me in the background. There is a file of Wyo Woman from her trip here at Christmas '99, a bit of Night Rider's Lament. Other files are explained in the Donegal Mazurka thread.
Any recordings from Dick and Susan's visit available? Alice |

14 Aug 00 - 03:51 PM (#277595) Subject: RE: More Mudcat sound files From: Alice I should say the sample from Les B is AMELIA EARHART'S LAST FLIGHT. In a thread on the song in April '99, Les wrote " Too bad I can't hum a few bars and have these magic machines translate." Well, Les, we have the magic now and can hear you... sounds great, too. 14 Aug 00 - 10:41 PM (#277901) Subject: RE: More Mudcat sound files From: TheMuse Alice - I downloaded a couple of these and I was asked what program I wanted to use. I chose RealJukeBox because I have other MP3 files there to play, but I couldn't seem to get these to play there. They just don't show up. Any suggestions? TheMuse |
