Hi All,

Anyone have the words for Pattersons "Billy Goat Overland"

It has been set to the tune "The lincolnshire Poacher".

Any other tunes used?

Apparently "The Thing" has also been set to "The lincolnshire Poacher" as well.

And, indeed, Henry Lawson's "The Dogs Meeting" was set to "The lincolnshire Poacher".

I would like to put "Billy Goat Overland" and "The Dogs Meeting" together (using the "The lincolnshire Poacher" as the glue).

I have found "The lincolnshire Poacher" lyrics and tune and have found the words for "The Dogs Meeting" but "Billy Goat Overland" is a bit more elusive.

Any ideas?

My medley of "The dogs meeting" and "Billygoat Overland" to the tune of "The Lincolnshire Poacher" is coming together.

All I have to do is sculpt the arrangements into shapely live performances.

Any Mudcat fiddlers with lots of ideas and time living in Canberra Australia?
