Well, sure, unless those opinions are wrong, like thinking alcohol tastes bad. Seriously though, alcohol is an acquired taste. When I was in my early teens, my sister offered me five bucks (no small sum in the mid-60's) if I would drink a whole 12 oz. beer. Highly motivated, I tried. About 1/4 to 1/3 of the way through, I gave up in disgust because I couldn't stand the taste. Later I did acquire the taste. More recently, my taste has evolved to where I like flavorful beers (microbrew ales, etc.) and generally can't stand mass-produced major brand American beer. Bringing us back towards the title of this thread, most of it tastes like.... |
